The Natchez Pearl
About The Pearl
The Natchez Pearl has been a staple in the historic district of Natchez for over a century; although it had no name until it became a lodging facility in the mid 1990's.
The Main House was built in the 1920’s, but the additional four units are housed in an L-shaped brick structure, located just behind the main house, that dates to 1857. It was part of a property built by Fredrick Stanton, as living quarters for the men who ran his stables and maintained his carriages. His stately, opulent mansion is just around the corner from the property.
Your host at The Natchez Pearl, Tanya, has been a “Natchezian” for over 30 years now, and quickly immersed herself in learning the city’s rich history when she arrived, then equally as quickly, became a part of the many people who strive to keep Natchez a highly desirable tourist destination.
The city has so much to offer, and you’ll find Tanya to be very helpful with planning your itinerary when you’re preparing to visit. She will help you with dining plans, places that are “must see” attractions, and even guide you to some hidden gems that are often overlooked by visitors. She will have you tied up with so many things to see and do, you’ll really need to consider at least a two night stay. Enjoy browsing the website and be confident that whichever unit you decide to book for your stay, you’ll enjoy comfort and quiet, no matter your choice. She makes herself available 24 hours a day, so know you’ll be a well cared for guest from the moment you arrive. Her facility is licensed and permitted by the city.

What Our Guests Have To Say...
"We stayed in the Carriage House, which despite being very old, did have modern facilities. The air conditioning and shower were very good. The bed was comfortable with nice linen. It was good to have the option to stream films on the TV. We were sent an email from our host with clear instructions to access the property and park which also gave good recommendations to local restaurants and attractions."

"A very nice place to stay. The Monica room is for 2 people. It is like a hotel room in size. Tanya, the owner, is very nice. I talked with her for a while on the phone. She answers texts quickly and let us check in early. She also provided a lot of good information about place to eat. There are many restaurants within 6 blocks. Also 2 coffee shops within walking distance." Mac M
"Tanya at the Natchez Pearl was a delightful host! She communicated clearly, had our room ready early, gave great restaurant suggestions (including a discount for being her guest at a few) and even loaned me an Apple Watch charger when I’d forgotten mine. The location was perfect for walking anywhere downtown. Our bed was very comfortable, and the location was quiet. It’s a beautifully maintained property with convenient, curbside parking. We would definitely stay here again.

"I can't say enough good things about The Natchez Pearl! Tanya is an outstanding host! She went to great lengths to give us a lovely experience--from accommodating an early check-in to providing a beautiful vase of fresh flowers on our bathroom vanity! Tanya is an excellent communicator who genuinely cares about her guests. She is what Southern Hospitality looks like! We stayed in Monica's Room and our son and his wife were in the Professional Suite. These accommodations are exceptional! We will be back." Kaye S
"The Natchez Pearl is our favorite place to stay in Natchez! We go several times a year to visit family and always stay there. We have stayed in the professional suite and the main house. Our other family members stayed this time as well, but in the carriage house. The rooms are all spacious and very clean, plus all necessities are provided. Convenient to downtown and the river front. Tanya is a wonderful hostess and responds quickly to questions. She truly cares about all of her guests and goes above and beyond to make their stay be the best!
